Congratulations! You just made your decision on a college! Right about now you are making lists of about 400+ items that you are going to need to bring to college with you.
One staple things for your dorm room is your bedding! I mean come on, once we find the perfect bedspread we’ll know our color pallet and match everything else off of it!
So let me make things a little easier on you with some tips!
Just a tip: this is college. You want to pick bedding that is not going to show dirt and stains. I lounge on my bed to do homework all the time and found that darker colors and patterns hide the blemishes. On the flip side, remember that plain dark colors are going to show lint, fuzz, and the occasional drool stain!
You may want to find a happy middle ground for your bedding to avoid all embarrassing possibilities!

College Bed Measurements! College beds are loner then average twin beds. A Twin XL Mattress (which is the size that colleges use) is 39 x 80 inches. This is longer then an average twin size, although the width is the same. The neat thing is that Bath and Body works, Target, JC Penny, and other stores carry Twin XL sheets and comforters specific for college students that are fun and affordable! For me personally, I was able to get away with a twin comforter but I made sure to get Twin XL sheets. It works great!
For those who like the feel of Jersey sheets, I would suggest looking at Target. Bath and Body Works had limited pale colors and for those who like vibrant jersey sheets, target is the place to go!Just a tip: this is college.
